October 2023 in a Nutshell

October is always so much fun (and busy and exhausting). 😅 Here is a glance at some of the fun:

Diamond art fun during General Conference:

And a fun drive up the divide to see the GORGEOUS leaves, followed by a cookout that filled my soul in a way that only nature and family time can do.
Kyle got his FIRST JOB at Walker Theater (even though we don't have a picture yet)!  Wahoo!  And Zach and Emilee took their engagement pictures. They turned out SOOOOOO cute!
We explored Wheeler Farm with these cute cousins.
And enjoyed more beautiful fall leaves!
Young men fun for Kyle...
And haunted house building for Livi...
We celebrated this cue girl's birthday!  We're grateful to have her as a bonus daughter!
Late-night pickleball...
Both Kyle and Ammon had undefeated soccer seasons.  Wahoo!
We had such a fun girl's night at the Taylor Swift concert movie!
Melissa and Felix came in town and we got to enjoy some fun baby snuggles!
Livi, Ammon, and I had so much fun at the rainy Logan pumpkin walk...
And now that Livi is in 6th grade, I have a BFF to go on field trips with!  So fun!
Who won crazy hair day??!!
Livi and Ammon did awesome in their Primary Program! This was Livi's last primary program before she got to young women's in a few months. Wow!  Time flies!  And she not only sang, but played the piano too!
And look at this cute Elder enjoying fall in Hungary!?

Wittke Halloween Fun!

It's always so fun to get together with the cousins for a Halloween party! This year was tricky to find a time since everyone is so dang busy! But we did find a weekday evening to squeeze it in. Playing in the leaves was the hit of the party! Well, that and Grandma's witch's brew and perfect witch cackle.

"Retro Toy Store" costume theme this year (revolving around that cute squishmallow there).

Fall Break 2023 - St. George Style

For fall break this year the weather was mild, but we still hit the road for St. George. This fall break came to be due to the fact that Sinda had never been to a National Park. Like, WHAT?!? Never a national park? So we decided to get her initiated right with a trip to Zion. We stayed with Mike's parents, so we were able to visit with them a bit too. Oh! And Anika Larsen came with us too, which made it SUPER exciting for these girlies. The worst part?! This mama's heart will NEVER get used to Zach and Preston not being with us on these adventures. 😞 It's the worst!!

On Thursday, Oct. 12th we started the day at the St. George Temple open house. This temple was the first temple in Utah, but they completely renovated it and then opened it up for the public to tour before rededicating it. It was so beautiful! Such rich, cozy colors and decor.
After the temple, we went out to lunch and enjoyed swimming!
Friday was Zion National Park Day! It was perfect weather and not at all crowded. Plus, to be in that incredible beauty with cousins?? Priceless! Perfect! Rejuvenating!

Oh yeah... And Kyle broke his phone at the temple open house. 😞😢
On Saturday we watched the Ring of Fire eclipse atop the Dixie Rock in Pioneer Park. It was pretty awesome!
After hiking around Pioneer Park and a little more swimming, it was time to head on back north. It was so nice to get away and enjoy these cute people I love!
